How Soot Builders Ltd uses the personal information you share through this website.
Soot Builders Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. Our address is 189 Walm Lane, London, England, NW2 3BU. You can contact us about privacy at info@sootbuilders.co.uk or on 020 3503 1282.
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, property postcode, the service you are interested in, your preferred timing, your project description and any photos you choose to upload. We also record the date, time and page from which the enquiry was sent.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project and, if you go ahead, to plan and carry out the work. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Enquiries are stored in this website’s database and sent to our business email address. Website hosting and email delivery are provided by third-party service providers who process data on our behalf. Uploaded photos are stored on the website server.
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and, if work goes ahead, for as long as needed for the project and our business records. We delete enquiries that do not lead to work when they are no longer needed.
Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
